Three weeks and counting now. I'm proud to report that all of the cells sent over by the art department have been incorporated into the game. So, now I can look forward to the next batch in two weeks. The entire design team had a meeting today to discuss progress. A few new ideas were proposed as well.
It's the end of another week, and I'm home free for the weekend. This has been another tiring week, and I'm ready for a nice long snooze. Good night.

Work is progressing on the project. I made some breakthroughs with the inventory system today. It's far from complete, but it is making progress. The art department sent over a few more cells late in the day. I haven't had time to incorporate them all yet though. I must say, Dave Simmons, our lead artist is doing an awesome job.
After work I got some take out at this quaint chinese restaurant down the street. They've got the best Chinese food in all of Minnesota.

We've made some progress over the past two weeks on our new project. Today I finally got a few cells from the art department. I spent the latter half of the day incorporating the first animations into the game. More will follow next week.
The weekend is finally upon us, and its time for me to take a break from work. I headed straight home today, and sat down on the couch to watch some TV. It's been a tiring week.

The life of a programmer is never easy. This week has been a tough one. On the programming side of things our new project is very demanding. It encompasses adventure/puzzle elements, but the hardest part to program is the inventory system. I've been experimenting with that in the past few days. I still haven't worked anything out though.
I often look forward to getting out of the office. Today after work I went down to the basketball court and made a few shots. It gave me time to clear my head for awhile. Tomorrow is another day.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Jason Biggs, and I work at Jack Games as a programmer. I was recently assigned a new programming position on a game entitled Swashblood Isle: Skull Tower. I can't say very much about the game since I'm sworn to secrecy, but the game concept presented by Jack Games looks promising, and that's all I can say.
I've been programming since I was a kid. So, I'm quite good at what I do, and love doing it. Outside of Jack Games (in my free time) I often play sports (basketball and soccer). I'm also fond of bike riding. From time to time I do like to play video games (I own a PS2 and XBox).
I'll try to keep this log updated as events in my life and career happen.
